At Kassunga Mission Initiative, we believe that transformation doesn’t happen in isolation – it happens when a whole community is empowered to grow together. Our work goes beyond education and healthcare to support broader development efforts that uplift every aspect of life in Kassunga, Uganda.
Infrastructure for Progress
From school construction to housing for teachers and community leaders, KMI builds with purpose. These projects include:
- New classrooms and campus buildings at St. Teresa Learning Center
- Teacher housing to help retain qualified, passionate educators
- Support for clinic repairs and expansion
Every structure we help build is a step toward greater opportunity, security, and pride for Kassunga residents.
Sustainable Energy Solutions
Access to consistent electricity can be life-changing. KMI has invested in solar energy installations – particularly at schools – to power classrooms, light learning spaces, and even run computer labs. These clean energy efforts reduce reliance on costly and unreliable sources while teaching students about sustainability and innovation.
Economic Empowerment
True development is about more than physical resources – it’s about capacity. KMI supports efforts that:
- Provide vocational opportunities through education and mentorship
- Encourage local leadership development
- Lay the groundwork for future micro-enterprises and income-generating initiatives
While still growing, these seeds of empowerment are already beginning to bear fruit.
Mission Trip Collaboration
